Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continues to rewrite the T20 record books after becoming the fastest player ever to reach 100 sixes in the format.

The Rajasthan Royals batter needed just 515 balls to bring up the milestone, underlining the outrageous power hitting that has made him one of the breakout stars of the 2026 Indian Premier League season.

Sooryavanshi currently has the most sixes in the IPL this season with 40 maximums in only 11 matches. He also holds the record for the most sixes in a single innings this campaign after smashing 12 sixes during his explosive 103 off 37 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

The youngster has also turned the powerplay into a nightmare for bowlers. His 30 powerplay sixes this season are now the most ever recorded in a single IPL campaign, overtaking the previous mark of 29 set by Abhishek Sharma in 2024.

The youngster also sits fifth on the tournament’s leading run scorers list with 440 runs at a staggering strike rate of 236.55, placing him among the most dangerous batters in the competition.

Only Abhishek Sharma and Finn Allen have managed 10 sixes in an innings this season, further highlighting the scale of Suryavanshi’s dominance.

The Royals star has quickly become one of the faces of the tournament, with bowlers across the league struggling to contain his fearless approach at the crease. At his current rate, more records could tumble before the season is over.
