Parnell ruled out of ODI series decider

The Proteas all-rounder sustained a left hamstring strain during the second ODI at the Wanderers, which South Africa won by seven wickets to level the series.

Parnell’s rehabilitation programme will be managed by Western Province.

Meanwhile, Ryan Rickelton has been released to the Central Gauteng Lions to play in the One-Day Cup before he joins the Proteas Test squad over the weekend.
