• Lightning ends prospect of reduced SA20 clash

    The SA20 match between the Joburg Super Kings and Sunrisers Eastern Cape at the Wanderers was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

    Soon after JSK captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and chose to bowl, lightning returned to the area leaving insufficient time for what was already reduced to a five overs per side match to take place.

    Both teams were awarded two points for the no-result.
