• Player profile: Bradley Porteous

Bradley Porteous has been instrumental to the success of Kearsney College, who has qualified to represent the Dolphins in the Coca-Cola T20 schools challenge in Potchefstroom from the 18 to 21 March.

For the third year on a row there will be a panel of judges that will select the Coca-Cola Hero of the Day. This daily award will honour the standout player on each match day.

The Coca-Cola Hero of the Day is not necessarily the best player of the day but it is a recognition of someone that has done something that changes the course of a game. The winner could be the player that ran out a batter who was in form, a acrobatic catch to dismiss an opposing batter, etc.

Bradley is one of the players that stands a good chance of winning the award due to the fact that Bradley has been influential to the team’s success so far this season. He is an inspirational leader that leads by example. He is a genuine all-rounder and his success in the lead up to this year’s tournament has been his miserly economy rate backed up by his batting.
