South Africa have made three changes for the New Years Test to the team who lost by 241 runs in Durban.

Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bat first. James Anderson replaces Chris Woakes.

Chris Morris makes his Test debut in the place of Kyle Abbott, who is not deemed fit enough to play. Kagiso Rabada comes in for the injured Dale Steyn.

Quinton de Kock makes his return to the Test side to take the wicketkeeping gloves from AB de Villiers with JP Duminy dropping out of the XI to accommodate the move.
